Have a look at all the learning we are doing this term.

Our classroom doors open to welcome children into school from 8.40am and will close at 8.50am when our day starts,

and collection from the playground at the end of the school day at 3.05pm. 

Reading

On Monday children will bring home 2 books for them to read to you. They will also choose a story for you to read to them. We will be reading regularly at school in small groups. Please return the books to school on a Friday.

Homework

Homework will be sent home on Monday and then will be returned two weeks later on a Friday. There will be activities to develop and reinforce classroom learning. 

PE

Wednesdays will be inside, and Thursdays PE with our sports coaches, will be outside.

Please come to school in school PE kit, dark joggers or leggings with a white shirt and school jumper. Earrings removed, and long hair tied up. 

Snacks and drinks

Please send only a healthy snack, such as fruit. There is fruit available each day in the classroom.

They should also bring a bottle of water (rather than juice/ squash) .

Advent

We had a wonderful time at Ferry Meadows. 

Can you remember any of the creatures we found?  We looked  around to find different signs of autumn.  What did you spot? 

Did you find any deciduous trees or evergreen trees? What types were there?
