Week Two - Hope can make a difference
Year 1
We talked about how having positive attitude and things to look forward to can make a difference to how we feel. Many of the children can't wait to see family and friends again, particularly looking forward to birthday celebrations! We discussed how we have stayed in touch with family and friends through phone calls and video chats. We also discussed how Spring is a time of change and looking forward, how signs of spring make us feel and how they help us feel positive and hopeful.
Year 2 talked about what a difference a positive outlook came make.
We made clouds of hope and positive words and thoughts to share with our friends and family.
Reception
This week we spoke about making a difference. To reach out to people who may be struggling and to find ways to be there for other people even when we may be far away. We created giant hugs which we folded, placed into an envlope and posted to a realtive or close friend who we had not had contact with for a while.
