Shoes with no or low heels are essential for both boys and girls.  If shoes are not suitable for running around the playground, accidents can happen.  If a pair of shoes is deemed unsafe, children may be asked to change into their trainers or plimsolls.

NB: During the winter months a change of socks and footwear is essential for all outdoor games. KS2 (years 3, 4, 5 and 6) will find a tracksuit and an extra pair of training shoes useful and warm.

Please note that PE is a National Curriculum subject and it is statutory that children take part.  Kit should always be available in school and taken home to be washed at weekends and in the holidays.  In accordance with LA guidelines, PE in the hall is done in bare feet.  You will be contacted if your child persistently misses PE due to lack of kit or other reasons.

Make up and hair colour are not part of our dress code!  Please avoid tops with slogans.  Parents/carers will be contacted if children's dress is considered inappropriate in any way.
