RE SummerTerm

Reception children thought about the role Fathers have in our lives and how important Joseph was in the early childhood of Jesus. How God showed his trust and faith in Joseph to give him the responsibility of caring for his only son and the belief, love, trust and faith Joseph had in God.

We thought of our own Fathers and how they love, protect and care for us.

We made tool boxes as Joseph was a carpenter and drew pictures of our Fathers.

During May we celebrated the life of Mary the Mother of Jesus, we thought of how frightened she must have been to have the responsibility of God's son but also the happiness, love, trust and faith.

We made an alter dedicated to Mary in the classroom and made flower garlands.

We celebrated the important role our own Mothers have in our lives and drew pictures of them.
