Year 4 - St. Bede

Welcome to Year 4

Your class teacher is Mr Crickwood.

Miss Harrison will teach on Tuesday mornings.

You will find some useful information and resources on this webpage. If you should need any more support or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Year 4 team through the school office.

The classroom door opens at 8.35am to allow time for the children to come and settle into the classroom. Our classroom door will close at 8.45am and the register is taken. Please sign in at the office if you arrive to school after 8.45am. Our school day ends at 3.15pm.

Our PE days are Wednesdays and Fridays - please wear your P.E. kit to school. Ensure that long hair is tied back, and any earrings are removed.

During the Autumn term, we will be swimming on Fridays. Please ensure that your child has their swimming kit and towel in a suitable bag ready to go on Friday morning. Pupil's can bring goggles if they wish.

Homework will be handed out on a Friday to be returned to school by the following Thursday. Any homework handed in late may not be marked that week.

In addition to the homework set per week, we ask that you read with your child daily and practice their mathematical fluency at least 3 times a week. This can be done through Times Tables Rock Stars or Numbots.

Members of our class recently took part in the online Ignite Collective Worship for All Saint's day which can be accessed here:

Lent Eucharist

Year 4 will be leading the Lent Eucharist on Friday 16th February 2024 at 9:15 am. Parents and carers are welcome. Below is Psalm 129 which the children have been learning the response to.

Response: With the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.

Ascension Mass

Dear Staff of All Saints' School,
I am happy to confirm that Year 4 attended the Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel and St Peter last Thursday on the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord. I am equally pleased to be able to acknowledge that their behaviour was of the best at all times, from their orderly arrival, to their conduct during the Mass and their departure afterwards.
They were in my opinion a credit to the School

Yours sincerely
Rev. Martin Wells
Permanent Deacon.
