Welcome to Year 4

Your class teacher is Mr Crickwood.

Mrs Davey will teach on Friday afternoons.

You will find some useful information and resources on this webpage. If you should need any more support or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Year 4 team through the school office. 

The classroom door opens at 8.35am to allow time for the children to come and settle into the classroom. Our classroom door will close at 8.45am and the register is taken. Please sign in at the office if you arrive to school after 8.45am. Our school day ends at 3.15pm.

P.E.

Our PE day is Monday - please wear your P.E. kit to school. Ensure that long hair is tied back, and any earrings are removed.

During the Autumn term, we will be swimming on Wednesdays. Please ensure that your child has their swimming kit and towel in a suitable bag ready to go on Wednesday morning. Pupil's can bring goggles if they wish.

Homework

Homework will be handed out on a Friday to be returned to school by the following Wednesday. Any homework handed in late may not be marked that week.

In addition to the homework set per week, we ask that you read with your child daily and practice their mathematical fluency at least 3 times a week. This can be done through Times Tables Rock Stars or Numbots.
