Trustee Biographies

Mr Justin Gold

I work as a research assistant at Cambridge University, and I'm excited to share that I have recently taken on the role of a Governor at All Saints Primary School. In addition to my professional commitments, I am a parent to two wonderful children. My eldest, who is currently in their first year, while my younger child is in preschool and will be entering reception next year.

I believe that each child deserves our unwavering commitment to providing them with the very best opportunities for learning and growth. Therefore I want to dedicate to promote a well-rounded and successful education, supporting staff  and parents in making informed decisions and nurturing their talents.

Mr George Hayes - Chair

Mrs Adele Caulkett

I am a serving Governor at All Saints Academy.  I have been on the board for 25 years becoming a Parent Governor when the school opened.  This year I have taken on the role of Vice Chair to the Governing Body.  I am currently Chair of the Extended Schools Committee which is a popular extension of the school, we also encompass Ace Base our after school provision.  I am also a member of the Audit and Scrutiny Committee.

I am married and have two grown up daughters who both attended All Saints on opening and continued their education at St John Fisher and Kings School.  We have lived in March for 27 years having moved from Suffolk.  I attend St John's Church.  I am passionate about education and believe that it is the foundation for which children develop their skills to assist them in their adult life.

Mrs Sue Burgess

I have been in education since 2006 where I taught Dental Nurses.  I am currently teaching adults dressmaking skills, within a college environment and primary school children sewing skills in their primary school.

I enjoy an active role with 4th March Brownies and attend Our Lady of Good Counsel and St Peter RC Church.

We have 3 children who attended All Saints from 1994-2008, who all went on to attend St John Fisher.  I was elected a Foundation Governor in March 2014 and given the role of Safeguarding Governor in September 2015.

Rev. Andrew Smith

I have been Team Rector of the four March Church of England Churches (St Peter, St Mary's, St John's and St Wendreda's) since April 2015 after some 25 years as a Vicar in the West Midlands.  During that time, and before, I have been Governor of some 15 schools, (primary, first, middle and special) often as Chair and therefore done mergers, got three schools out of special measures and taken another to outstanding.

Our three children were educated entirely in the state sector and now our four grandchildren are starting out in the same way.  All through my involvement with schools my priorities have been to provide a balanced and effective education, to help staff to make good decisions and to develop their talents, to value parents, with schools at the heart of community, with a child centred education for all children.  All children deserve us to do our very best.

Dr. Allan Whyte

I am a retired Clinical Psychologist with a focus on Child Psychology.  I have worked with children and families for over 40 years in a variety of settings.  My first steps in child psychotherapy was working in the early 1970's with Barbara Dockar-Drysdale, Consultant Psychotherapist at the Mulberry Bush School in Oxfordshire.  In my long career I have also worked very closely with schools, particularly in the London Boroughs of Haringey and Islington.

I have a keen interest in the democratic participation of children and young people in the decision making process that has the most impact on their lives.  Working in close collaboration with Rob Hutchinson CBE, former director of Portsmouth Social Services.  I have run Turning the Curve workshops for local authorities in England and Wales including Cambridgeshire on Results Based Accountability.

Mrs Jacqueline McCamphill - Vice Chair
