The Autumn Term

In the Autumn term, we will be working on the following areas:

Reading:

The Queen's Nose by Dick King Smith and Young, Gifted and Black by Maya Angelou.

Writing:

News reports, 3rd person adventure stories, Poetry which explores form, 1st person diary entries, Adverts and Stories from other cultures.

Mathematics:

Place value, Addition and Subtraction, Area, Multiplication and Division.

Religious Education:

Creation and Covenant (Abraham, Isaac and Joseph) and Prophecy and Promise (Elijah and John the Baptist).

Science:

Living things and their habitats and States of matter.

History:

The Anglo-Saxons

Geography:

Rivers and Longitude and latitude.

Computing:

Networks and Audio production.
