Weekly Values Assembly – Celebrating SHINE in Action

At All Saints, our weekly Friday Values Assembly is a joyful and important part of our Collective Worship, where we pause to reflect, give thanks, and celebrate the ways our children are living out our SHINE values — Service, Hope, Integrity, Nurture, and Excellence.

Each week, 1 or 2 pupils from every class are recognised for demonstrating one or more of our core values in their learning, behaviour, or how they care for others. Whether it’s showing kindness to a friend, persevering through a challenge, or acting with quiet integrity, these moments are celebrated publicly because they matter deeply to who we are as a school.

Over the course of the year, every child will be recognised, ensuring that all pupils feel seen, valued, and celebrated for their contribution to our school community. Those chosen receive a Values Certificate in front of the school — a moment that affirms their character and encourages others to shine too.

For pupils who find coming to the front of a large group challenging, we honour their achievements more quietly, sharing their certificate and celebration in the safe and familiar setting of their classroom. In doing so, we remain true to our value of Nurture, ensuring every child is celebrated in a way that feels supportive and respectful.

Our Friday assembly is more than a routine — it’s a time of gratitude, encouragement, and joy, helping our community grow together in faith, character, and confidence.
